HOW THE CONTA BLENDER WORKS

Position the filled mobile bin at the lifting station.

Engage the positive cradle and prove the clamp interlock

Tumble the complete bin about its horizontal axis.

CLOSED-BIN TUMBLE BLENDING CONCEPT

After positive clamping and lifting, the complete sealed IBC rotates about a horizontal trunnion axis. Gravity continuously createsa new free surface, causing the powder bed to divide, cascade and recombine without an internal agitator.

Rotation is enabled only after both clamp and bin-presence signals are proven.

Drive current, torque and speed monitoring protect against abnormal rotating load.

Personnel protection

Interlocked guarding, scanner or light barrier prevents access to the rotation envelope.

Recipe control

Speed, direction, blend time, acceleration and home position can be stored by formulation.
