STAINLESS-STEEL
ROLLER CONVEYOR
A robust modular conveyor in which powered rollers move
rigid-bottom cartons, crates, trays, drums and containers through production, inspection, accumulation and packaging operations.
HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

LOAD
Place rigid-bottom products across the rollers.

POWER
The geared motor drives the transmission.

ROTATE
Chain or belt synchronizes roller rotation.

TRANSFER
Roller contact advances the unit load.

GUIDE
Adjustable rails maintain alignment.

DISCHARGE
Product transfers to the next module.
WHEN A POWERED ROLLER CONVEYOR IS THE RIGHT CHOICE
Rigid unit loads
Unit-load transfer
Ideal for cartons, crates, pallets, trays, drums and rigid containers.
Modular line transfer
Connects production, inspection, accumulation and dispatch stations.
Low rolling resistance
Rollers move suitable products efficiently with limited surface contact.
KEY ADVANTAGES
Flexible line layouts
Continuous support helps protect stable product orientation.
Positive powered movement
Synchronized rollers provide controlled speed and repeatable flow.
Automation ready
Sensors, zones, stops, counters and downstream permissives connect to the PLC.
CONSTRUCTION & CONFIGURATION OPTIONS
FRAME
SS304, SS316L, aluminium profile or coated steel structure
ROLLER OPTIONS
Stainless, zinc-plated, polymer or rubber-lagged rollers
TRANSMISSION
Chain, Poly-V belt, round belt or motorized roller zones
CONFIGURATION
Powered, gravity, zoned, accumulating or integrated modules
GUIDING
Adjustable rails, end stops, sensors and alignment devices
PROTECTION
Drive guards, emergency stop, overload and product interlocks
POWERED ROLLER CONVEYOR OPERATING CONCEPТ
A geared motor powers a chain, toothed belt or roller-drive transmission. The synchronized rollers rotate beneath the rigid product base, creating controlled forward movement while guides maintain alignment through the conveyor module.
CONTROLLED OPERATING SEQUENCE

LOAD
Place product across the rollers

POWER
Motor drives the transmission

ROTATE
Powered rollers turn together

TRANSFER
Roller contact moves product.

DISCHARGE
Transfer to the next module.
CONTROL, PROTECTION & MAINTENANCE
Start-up permissive
Confirm guards, downstream readiness and clear roller path before infeed.
Load monitoring
Motor current and product sensors identify overload or blocked accumulation.
Transmission protection
Correct tension, lubrication and guarding protect the roller drive.
Discharge confirmation
Downstream equipment readiness is interlocked with conveyor operation.
Access protection
Inspection covers and drive guards are interlocked where required.
Cleaning access
Open-frame access and removable rollers support inspection and sanitation.
STANDARD RANGE & PRELIMINARY SIZING
Catalogue screening basis: horizontal continuous transfer of rigid-bottom unit loads. The smallest product must remain supported by at least three
rollers; heavier or uneven loads may require additional roller support.

CAPACITY CALCULATION BASIS
ROLLER PITCH GUIDE
Pitch <= shortest product base /3
Maintain at least three supporting rollers
ROLLER LOAD CHECK
Load/roller = product mass / rollers
Apply impact and uneven-load safety factors
WHAT CONTROLS THE FINAL SELECTION
Product geometry
Smallest base, largest footprint, height, weight and stability.
Roller selection
Diameter, tube material, bearing, shaft and
surface treatment.
