PROTEСТ
Close the vessel and establish the intended pressure boundary.

MAINTAIN
Monitor pressure and temperature throughout the process cycle.
FLAME ARRESTORS OVERVIEW
Adriti flame arrestors are safety devices intended to prevent flame propagation through pipelines, tank vents and process systems handling flammable gases or vapours. During normal operation, process gas passes through the element; during an ignition event, the flame front is cooled and quenched before it can travel to the protected side.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
END-OF-LINE FLAME ARRESTOR
Installed directly on a vessel vent nozzle or at the termination of a vent line. It helps prevent an external ignition source from entering the tank or vessel.
IN-LINE FLAME ARRESTOR
Installed within a pipeline between process sections. It helps prevent flame transmission from the exposed side to the protected side of the system.
SELECTION STARTS WITH THE HAZARD AND INSTALLATION
Confirm gas group, flame duty, location, pressure, temperature, piping arrangement and allowable pressure drop before selecting the arrestor configuration.

PRESSURE SAFETY & MECHANICAL INTEGRITY
Pressure definitions
Operating pressure, design pressure, MAWP and relief set pressure are documented and controlled as distinct values.
Relief basis
Relief device type and capacity are selected from the governing credible overpressure scenario and discharge destination.
Vacuum condition
Steam-out, cooling, draining or blocked vent can create vacuum. full or partial vacuum is included when credible.
Cyclic service
Expected pressure and temperature cycles are reviewed where fatigue or repeated loading can govern design.
Mechanical integrity
Materials, welds, nozzles, flange, bolting, supports, NDT and pressure test are verified to the agreed specification.
Opening and isolation
The removable head is opened only after process isolation, depressurization, draining and zero-energy verification.
