MOBILE BIN &
TRANSFER TROLLEY
A compact stainless-steel mobile bin for receiving, holding, moving and gravity-discharging powders or granules between
process stages. The open charging neck, cylindrical body, conical hopper, sanitary outlet valve and braked castors form one manoeuvrable hygienic unit.
HOW THE MOBILE BIN WORKS

CHARGE
Fill through the open neck or optional lid connection with the outlet closed

IDENTIFY
Record the material, batch, quantity and status on the bin nameplate or tag.

HOLD
Retain the material temporarily in the smooth cylindrical product chamber.

MOVE
Roll the bin on rated castors along the approved clean and level route.

POSITION
Place at the receiving point and lock the castor brakes before discharge.

DISCHARGE
Open the sanitary bottom valve and regulate gravity flow to the receiver.
APPLICATION FIT & PROCESS VALUE
RIGHT APPLICATION
Pharmaceutical and nutraceutical
Short-distance movement of powders, excipients, granules and premixes between clean process stages.
Food and specialty ingredients
Mobile intermediate holding for additives, powders, blends and granular ingredients.
Chemical and cosmetic processing
Application-specific transfer of compatible pigments, additives, powders and dry ingredients.
KEY ADVANTAGES
Compact process mobility
The same bin receives, holds, moves and discharges material without intermediate repacking.
Hygienic product path
Smooth stainless-steel contact surfaces and an accessible outlet support cleaning and inspection.
Flexible batch flow
Multiple mobile bins can buffer upstream and downstream operations within the approved capacity.
CONSTRUCTION & CONFIGURATION OPTIONS
PRODUCT-CONTACT CONSTRUCTION
SS304 or SS316L with selected internal finish, weld treatment and gasket materials.
CONTAINER GEOMETRY
Cylindrical body, rounded shoulder, wide charging neck and steep conical hopper for gravity flow.
MOBILE SUPPORT
Circular tubular support ring with four load-rated swivel castors and selected wheel material.
CHARGING ARRANGEMENT
Open sanitary neck with optional removable lid, dust cover, screen or charging adaptor.
OUTLET ARRANGEMENT
Sanitary butterfly or special valve matched to powder flow, cleaning and receiver connection.
HANDLING AND CONTROL
Side handling lugs, castor brakes, nameplate, barcode/RFID and optional weighing provisions.
MOBILE HOLDING GRAVITY DISCHARGE.
Product is charged through the open neck, held inside the cylindrical chamber, moved on rated castors, positioned with the brakes locked and discharged by gravity through the sanitary bottom valve.
CONTROLLED OPERATING SEQUENCE

PREPARE
Verify cleanliness, outlet closure, castors and brake condition.

CHARGE
Fill to the approved mhe appro through the charging mass or volume neck.

IDENTIFY
Confirm material, batch, quantity and movement destination

MOVE
Push only along the approved clean, leve and obstruction-free route.

POSITION
Align with the receiver and lock the castor brakes.

DISCHARGE
Open the sanitary Open the san valve and control brakes. gravity flow.
CONTROL, SAFETY & MAINTENANCE
Fill protection
Approved working fill and optional weighing prevent overloading the bin and castors.
Outlet security
The butterfly valve is closed and protected before charging, holding or movement.
Safe movement
Gross mass, center of gravity, push force, route and castor rating are verified together.
Brake control
All specified brakes are locked before connection or opening the discharge valve.
Flow reliability
Cone angle, outlet and optional flow aid are selected from actual powder behaviour.
Cleaning and inspection
The open neck, smooth body, cone and removable valve remain accessible for the approved method.
PRELIMINARY MOBILE BIN CAPACITY GUIDE
This guide supports early capacity screening only. Final usable fill, cone geometry, frame, gross mass, center of gravity, castors, manual push force,
outlet and discharge performance require confirmed product and route data.

CORE PRELIMINARY CALCULATIONS
1.REQUIRED GROSS VOLUME
Vgross [L] = Required batch mass [kg] / (bulk density [kg/L] x usable fill fraction)
2. PRODUCT BATCH MASS
Mass [kg] = Usable product volume [L] x loose bulk density [kg/L]
3. MAXIMUM GROSS MASS
Gross mass = product batch mass + bin tare + removable fittings and accessories.
4. DESIGN CASTOR LOAD
Minimum wheel rating follows gross mass, unequal load distribution, dynamic factor and the number of load-bearing castors.
FINAL SELECTION CHECKS
Powder flow
Cohesion, segregation, flooding, bridging and wall friction determine hopper, outlet and flow aid.
Working fill
Freeboard must suit charging method, powder behaviour, movement acceleration and spill prevention.
Mobility and stability
Tare, gross mass, center of gravity, frame, castors, brakes, push force and route are verified.
Process interface
Charging neck, outlet size, valve elevation and downstream equipment must form a compatible connection.
Cleaning and hygiene
Surface finish, welds, gasket, access, drainability and cleaning method are application-specific.
Site and controls
Floor condition, gradients, thresholds, area classification, earthing, identification and weighing are confirmed.
